R Marine Jacksons Sponsors Sandringham Yacht Club Snapper Comp
In what was a bit of a blustery Sunday the annual Sandringham Yacht Club Snapper Fishing Tournament held on November 20th turned out to be not too bad considering the prior day was a complete wash out with rain and strong winds. In total there were 38 boats signed up that took part in the day with the winning Snapper weight being 4.4kg while the largest non Snapper was a Flathead being landed at a tad over 1kg. This event has turned out to be an annual event that is high on the agenda of the most serious fisherman whilst also accommodating the weekend novice with prizes for those less experienced. All in all those that entered had a great day and I am sure they cannot wait until next year.
