Available free from the iphone app store, Shipmate provides detailed listings of marine trades and services by category, information on yacht clubs, marinas, marine organisations and much more. Boaters can now also connect automatically via the app to a phone number or a website by touching the iphone screen and, the listings can be filtered by state.

The iphone app incorporates direct, single touch links to BOM weather, tide predictions, wind and waves and synoptic charts. A Shipmate News section is also available on the app allowing boaters to keep up to date with the latest marine news around Australia.
