Variety Splash Update and Entry forms for 2012

The Variety Splash is an annual event similar to the infamous Variety Bash, where the focus is all about having fun whilst on the water. As with all Variety events, the Splash has a serious side, its primary objective is to raise much needed funds to help empower Victorian children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs to live, laugh and learn.

In its first four years the Splash has collectively raised over $400,000. By taking part in the 2012 Variety Splash not only will you have the time of your life but you will be instrumental in helping bring sunshine into the lives of many very special children

 The three day rally takes participants around Port Phillip and Corio Bay, on a fun filled adventure that is open to power and sail boats of all shapes and sizes.

Variety Splash VIP boats needed:

Variety Splash would be very appreciative if you were able to assist with some VIP boats to host their corporate partners.

Variety would require boats large enough to cater for up to 10 guests, as well as two crew (a skipper plus one additional crew member).

Dates and venue information for the Splash are as follows (full details in the attached brochure);

Thursday 23 February: Official Welcome and Presentation Dinner at SYC

Friday 24 February: Day One on-water – SYC to RGYC

Saturday 25 February: Say Two on-water – RGYC to Queenscliff

Sunday 26 February: Day Three on-water – Queenscliff to RYCV

Variety Splash will take care of all catering (breakfast, lunch, dinner and beverages) / merchandise fees for the skipper and one crew member, as well as providing a Variety Splash volunteer and / or staff member to host the corporate team, and ensure the boat stays well looked after! The boat is also fully catered for during the day, with snacks provided on board as well as beverages.

The skipper and / or boat owner would simply have to donate their boat, three days of their time and take care of running costs.
